Make a Gift Bag with the Marble Paper Pad

If you’re looking to make gift giving feel even more personal, there’s nothing quite like making a personalized gift bag to give to the special people in your life. The best bit is that it’s an easy craft that can be done again and again no matter the occasion.

Below you’ll find everything you need to recreate this gift bag using our Marble Paper Pad, step-by-step instructions and a video to follow along to.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 12 x 12 paper sheet (we used a marble foil sheet)
• Scoreboard
• Tape Pen
• Gift Tag Punch
• Gold Mirror Card
• Ribbon or Twine of your choice
• Craft Magnet

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Score your card at 4” and 5” (10.2cm x 12.7cm).
2. Fold and burnish the 5” (12.7cm) line.
3. Line against the board and score at 4” and 5” (10.2cm and 12.7cm) then 5.5” (14cm).
4. Rotate and score at 1” (2.5cm) on bottom and 3” (7.6cm).
5. Trim off the excess as seen in the video below.
6. Fold your bag and use the tape pen to assemble.
7. Glue on your magnet to the front panel and the inside of the top tab of the gift bag.
8. Use the tag punch (or simply cut out) a tag shape in both the marble and gold mirror card.
9. Thread some ribbon or twine through the hole and glue on a small bow for decoration.
10. Use a tape pen to stick the tag to the gift bag.
