If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your tree this Christmas, there’s nothing better than crafting your own decorations that you can hang proudly
Follow along to our instructions below and learn how to make your own easy fan decoration craft for your Christmas tree branches. Choose your favourite paper pads to make them your own.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Step-by-step instructions:
Using a ruler, draw a straight line across your paper pad to outline where you will make your cut.
Cut your paper into long rectangular sheets.
Starting at the bottom of the rectangle, fold the very end of the sheet onto itself. Repeat this process until you have reached the other end and the sheet is folded multiple times.
Holding at the centre, fold the sheet in half.
Measure out a length of twine and cut using a pair of scissors.
Loop through the centre of your fold. This will be what you use to hang it on your tree branch.
Using your adhesive, affix the twine to the centre of the fold.
Once the glue has dried, place more glue along the sides of the length of the fold and hold to stick it in place. This creates the fanning effect.
You can then affix an additional embellishment of your choice to the front and that’s it! Your own fan decoration for your tree.
