Welcome back to another installment of Watch Along Wednesday and this week, we’ve got a lovely layered edition for you all! In today’s post, David Falcon will be showing off the amazing depth and dimension that can be achieved with our Layering Stamp and Dies. If you love creating a bit of a statement in your papercrafts, then this is definitely the post for you.
These Stamp and Die sets give you the freedom to create stamped images with layers of colour, following along with the order given or experimenting with different combinations for unique looks. These can then be cut out with the included dies, so you can apply them to a range of projects or use them with foam pads for a raised look.
Take a look at the video below to see David use the Spring Wreath Layering Stamp and Dies to create a beautiful greetings card!
All you need is a die-cutting machine, a die and your chosen card or paperstock. Simply place the die with the blade side facing upwards on to your cutting plate. Add your chosen paper on top, then sandwich the whole thing with another cutting plate. Slowly roll this through your die-cutting machine and you’ll be left with a crisp cut every time.
The stamps are made from the highest quality clear acrylic, which means that you can see straight through the stamp to line up the image accurately. Just adhere your chosen stamp to an acrylic block or Rock-a-Block and stamp away! This means that you’re guaranteed accurate impressions every time.
These stamps are highly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. They can be applied like a traditional stamp, or used with heat embossing powders to create an incredible raised effect. You can also try stamping them on vellum paper for a weathered look.
