Exciting news! We've teamed up with the fabulous quilting aficionado Jo Avery to create the Gemini Build a Block Designer Collection.
A renowned quilter, Jo has designed this range of die sets exclusively for us! Each set includes instructions so you can use her beautiful designs to craft quilts, bags, wall hangings and more!
But first, let's get to know our new crafting friend, the very lovely Jo Avery!
Who is Jo Avery?
Jo is a teacher, entrepreneur and designer. A lifetime of playing with fabric and yarn as led to her career in quilting.
And, she shares her expertise by contributing to a number of quilt and embroidery publications and has written her own book - 'New Patchwork and Quilting Basics.'
Jo is also part of the Thread House, a UK based quilting retreat and pattern venture with Virtual Retreats, Online Video Classes and so much more!
What is her quilting style?
Jo has an eclectic style, taking her inspiration both from nature and quilt craft heritage. This leads to designs that are a perfect blend of modern and traditional aesthetics.
She has a real affinity for colour and detail which also informs her quilt designs. And a real love for intricate techniques like needle-turn applique and embroidery.

Each set includes Multi Media dies to create a finished 12" quilting block in a beautiful geometric design.
What are Multi Media dies?
Multi Media dies have been specially designed to save you so much time with your quilting and patchwork projects!
Each die can cut multiple layers of fabric including up to 6 layers of 100% cotton! So, you can cut multiple patchwork shapes at once using a die cutting machine to achieve perfect levels of accuracy and precision.
Die cutting is also faster, safer and more accurate than using a rotary cutter - giving you more time to get creative!
Are they easy to use?
Yes! The Multi Media dies each include seam allowance, which makes working out the dimensions of your quilting and patchwork shapes so much easier!
Each set also includes step-by-step instructions to show you how to create stunning bags, quilts, cushion covers and more!
